Mesothelioma & Asbestos

The Janssen Law team is experienced in handling mesothelioma and asbestos-related diseases. We have seen firsthand the pain caused by these crippling illnesses, and are passionate advocates for helping the victims and families who have been affected.

Asbestos exposure is the cause of serious illness for millions of Americans, especially if they have been exposed to it over a period of time. Direct exposure isn’t even required—simply working around the material can be enough to expose someone to dangerous levels of asbestos. Mesothelioma is one of the illnesses linked to asbestos. Each year, nearly 3,000 people in the United States are diagnosed with malignant mesothelioma—and nearly all of them are linked to asbestos.

Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that occurs in the thin membrane of the lungs, chest and abdomen. It attacks the membranes, called “mesothelium,” that surrounds and protects vital organs like the heart and lungs. These cancerous cells can metastasize quickly to other parts of the body.

If you or a loved one has been diagnosed with mesothelioma, contact the Janssen Law Center immediately.

Submit a Case Review

We will review your case for free, with no obligation. We will give you solid, practical advice regarding your case, as well as the next steps to take. You do not have to pay a retainer fee up front. We only charge a fee if we’re successful and recover a financial award on your behalf. Our fees are based on a percentage of that award. This is known as a contingent fee agreement.

The Janssen Law Center accepts most personal injury cases on a contingent fee basis. The contingent fee is perhaps the one device in law that gives injured people – no matter their financial means – an even break against giant corporations and insurances companies in a court of law.
